USSLETC: United States Specialized Law Enforcement Training Commission
In 1961, when Rod Sacharnoski first was first appointed as a police officer, he began to teach Police Defensive Tactics to various law enforcement departments when few agencies had such programs. Throughout his career he has trained Federal, State, County and Municipal personnel and is still, as of this date, active in this respect. Rod founded the USSLETC as a means to research, develop, and offer law enforcement personnel the very best in personal protection.
This type of training is necessary to provide the officer with the ability to adequately defend themselves in situations where such action is required. Rod is certified Master Instructor in Police Defensive Tactics and has a waiting list for his training. USSLETC membership is open to all active law enforcement personnel who have the desire to join and participate in one of the nation’s oldest police training associations.
