IOMAU: International Okinawan Martial Arts Union
In 1989, the International Okinawan Martial Arts Union (IOMAU) was born. It was founded by three (3) traditional martial arts masters who were:
The IOMAU was conceived for the purpose of teaching and spreading the traditional Okinawan martial arts and ways throughout the Western world. Today, the IOMAU consists of martial arts associations located in the United States, Europe, etc. Rod Sacharnoski was appointed as the International Director in 1989 and is responsible to maintain the IOMAU Registry.
